Season Finale

Aargh I can't believe it's over! This is horrible. Now I won't know who A is for an indefinable amount of time! I won't have any mystery in my life for months. I won't see Mr Fitz for months! What a tragedy. However, there is a good side to this: I will have more time for schoolwork and one less distraction. I just hope I don't experience withdrawal symptoms.

I hope you watched this last night. If you didn't, feel sorry for yourself. Because I feel sorry for you. Apart from how wonderful the whole film was, the opening credits were also very pretty. And Ginger Rogers was a brunette in it!

Dan and Blair

What is happening?! The rules of Gossipgirl have been smashed and they can never be fixed now! When I started watching it in year 7, after reading the books, I vowed that if the writers of Gossipgirl had to resort to putting Blair and Dan together the show would be broken and I wouldn't watch it anymore. And now it's happened... But I love it too much to stop! And I kind of like them togther... They're becoming my favourite couple, despite Ben's attractiveness and sweet vulnerability. But how can I watch such a complete violation of my principles? Even though it's so good.
By the way, how sweet to watch 'The Philadelphia Story' of all movies - I get it now: Chuck is Cary Grant, Blair is Katharine Hepburn, Dan is James Stewart. How perfect.

Now and Forever and College

Today's $6 movie puchases (but these together were $10). Seen one and can't wait to see the other. But sadly not this weekend. Long as it is. I have other fish to fry.

PPS: It's 'College' I've seen. There's a really really funny scene where the bullies force him [Buster] to bounce on the trampoline and he goes so high he looks into the window of this fat lady's apartment and them accidentally pulls her out of her room!

What Would Audrey Do?

I just bought this for my friend's 17th this month - to match her collection of Audrey movies.
It's the sweetest book, I've flicked through it before and I know she'll just love it. There's advice on everything: how would Audrey dress for this occaision, where would she go on a date... how to be like her and what she would do in every situation.
And it has a really cute layout and such. I feel like the best friend ever!
PS: I'm getting her 'High Society' to go with it.
