Today I made a gingerbread house. Not the above one, but similar. I usually make one every year, but this one was different. Nobody was my partner so I made it on my own. I measured the roof to the wrong proportions, and it ended up pushing itself outwards - almost collapsing the house! It took an hour of holding it in place and cementing with lemon icing before it stood. I don't want to eat it.

Gingerbread House
