Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

I love how Claude Rains almost always plays an evil character with redeeming qualities.

The King's Speech

Watched 'The King's Speech' today - so good. Both funny and historically accurate. I recommend it a lot!

The Nutcracker

Please read this before Christmas! I know I'm going to. And it's just as enjoyable every time. Probably because I forget the story throughout the year...

Philadelphia or Newport

I can't decide which one I prefer! They're both so different... but too similar to compare.

Orange Roses

There's something unusual about orange roses. A bit too vibrant? I like them anyway.

3) White Christmas

Citizen Kane

I finished 'Citizen Kane' today... it was an odd movie. I've never really liked or understood Orson Welles. I've seen his movies, know about him generally, I even saw 'Me and Orson Welles' with Zac Efron... and I know he's supposed to be some sort of genius...
Maybe when I'm older and more mature it will all make sense. I hope so, because I have the feeling I'm missing something really obvious and really amazing.

English Rose Cotton

I've picked the material for the new pillow for my desk chair in my bedroom. It is so so beautiful, white and pink roses on blue. It looks like a mixture of the two pictures above!

Clark and Jean

A tragic team.

PS: That rhymes.

We are Siamese if you please

One of my favourite songs in all the Disney movies, with some of the scariest villains in all the Disney movies. And I even used to have a siamese cat!

Pretty In Pink

I give you... a small pink rose.

Cutest Dogs

The Owl and the Pussycat

The Owl and the Pussycat went to sea
In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five pound note.
The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
"O lovely Pussy! O Pussy, my love,
What a beautiful Pussy you are, you are, you are,
What a beautiful Pussy you are."
Pussy said to the Owl "You elegant fowl,
How charmingly sweet you sing.
O let us be married, too long we have tarried;
But what shall we do for a ring?"
They sailed away, for a year and a day,
To the land where the Bong-tree grows,
And there in a wood a Piggy-wig stood
With a ring at the end of his nose, his nose, his nose,
With a ring at the end of his nose.
"Dear Pig, are you willing to sell for one shilling your ring?"
Said the Piggy, "I will"
So they took it away, and were married next day
By the Turkey who lives on the hill.
They dined on mince, and slices of quince,
Which they ate with a runcible spoon.
And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand
They danced by the light of the moon, the moon, the moon,
They danced by the light of the moon.
