Today I made a gingerbread house. Not the above one, but similar. I usually make one every year, but this one was different. Nobody was my partner so I made it on my own. I measured the roof to the wrong proportions, and it ended up pushing itself outwards - almost collapsing the house! It took an hour of holding it in place and cementing with lemon icing before it stood. I don't want to eat it.
Welcome to my new obsession. Idly flicking through my mum's Vogue Living, I chanced upon the most beautiful crockery of my life! Too bad it's really really expensive, exquisite, Danish 18th Century porcelain. Maybe I can do a Princess Mary? 
Cat from 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' is definitely one of the top three cutest cats I've ever seen... along with O'Mally from 'The Aristocats' and the Cheshire cat from 'Alice in Wonderland'... I can't believe Holly would ever chuck him into the rain!!
